Tap the teeth you're missing

Include teeth that are cracked, loose or failing. Charted the way your dentist sees you, so your right side is on the left.

Implants are for three kinds of problems

Most of the people we see have lived with one of these for years. The fix depends on how many teeth, and where.

A gap where a tooth used to be

You chew on one side. Over time the teeth beside the gap tip into it and the bone underneath shrinks. One implant and one crown fixes it without touching the teeth next door.

Single implant with crown $3,900 to $4,800

A bridge that's loose or failing

Traditional bridges last 10 to 15 years, then the anchor teeth decay or crack. An implant bridge sits on two implants instead, so it doesn't need those teeth at all.

Implant bridge $8,500 to $12,000

Dentures that slip, click or hurt

A full arch of fixed teeth held by four implants. You brush them in place and they stay in at night. Most people eat soft foods on them the same week.

Full-arch fixed teeth $19,900 to $26,000 per arch

Our implant prices, published

Every quote we write lands inside these ranges. Where you land depends on the scan: bone, gum health, and which crown material suits your bite.

  • Included in the all-in price

  • Consult, 3D CBCT scan and written plan
  • Removing the tooth at the implant site, if it's still there
  • Implant, abutment, and final crown or bridge from our in-house lab
  • Temporary teeth while you heal, and every check-up for 12 months
  • Priced separately, only if you need it

  • Bone graft at the implant site, $450 to $950 (the scan tells us before you pay anything)
  • IV sedation, $650 per surgery visit (most single implants only need local numbing)

Three visits, about four months, one price

Here's a single implant from start to finish. Bridges follow the same rhythm. Full-arch patients leave surgery day with fixed temporary teeth.

Week 0

1Consult and scan

CBCT scan, an hour with Dr. Hollis, and your written plan and price.

60 minutes. Free.

Week 2 to 3

2Implant placed

Local numbing, one small titanium post. Most people are back at work the next day.

About 60 to 90 minutes

Months 1 to 4

Bone bonds to the implant

You wear a temporary tooth and live normally. We check in at 2 weeks and 8 weeks, and take a quick scan before the final tooth.

No visits needed beyond two short check-ins

Month 4

3Final crown

Your crown, made in our lab and shade-matched to your teeth, is fitted.

45 minutes

Nothing happens at the first visit except the scan and the conversation. No treatment on day one, and your plan price holds for 90 days so you can check insurance, talk to family, or compare.

We measure your bone in 3D before we quote a price

Our CBCT scanner is down the hall from the consult room. You stand still for about 20 seconds while the arm circles your head. Then Dr. Hollis walks you through the images on a big screen.

  • HeightHow much bone sits above the nerve, in millimeters, at each site
  • WidthWhether a standard implant fits, or the site needs a graft first
  • Nerve and sinusWhere they are, so the plan keeps a safe margin from both

Most offices mail impressions to an outside lab and wait two or three weeks. Our technician works in the building.

  • He matches your shade in person, next to your real teeth
  • If a contact point is off by a hair, it's adjusted the same hour
  • Lab costs aren't marked up by a middleman, which is part of why the prices above are what they are

What people ask before they book

These come straight from the consult room. If yours isn't here, Tasha, our treatment coordinator, answers the phone.

Does getting an implant hurt?

During the procedure, no. The area is numbed the same way as for a filling, and IV sedation is available if you're anxious ($650). Afterward most people describe it as sore rather than painful, like a tooth extraction. Ibuprofen and Tylenol together cover it for two or three days, and most patients are back at work the next day.

What does it really cost, and what's not included?

Single implants run $3,900 to $4,800, implant bridges $8,500 to $12,000, and full arches $19,900 to $26,000 per arch. That covers the scan, surgery, abutment, final teeth and a year of check-ups. The only extras are a bone graft ($450 to $950 per site) or IV sedation ($650), and both are written into your plan before you agree to anything.

How long does the whole thing take?

About four months for a single implant or bridge, over three main visits. The waiting is the bone bonding to the implant, and you wear a temporary tooth during that time. Full-arch patients get fixed temporary teeth on surgery day and final teeth at four to six months.

Am I too old for implants?

There's no upper age limit. Our oldest implant patient this year was 88. What matters is your general health, how well controlled conditions like diabetes are, and how much bone you have. Bring your medication list and we'll go through it with you.

I've been told I have bone loss. Can I still get implants?

Often, yes. The CBCT scan measures exactly how much bone is at each site. Mild loss is handled with a graft at the same visit as the implant. For full arches, the back implants are angled to use the bone you have, which is how many denture wearers avoid grafting completely.

Does insurance cover implants?

Many PPO plans pay part of it, usually up to their yearly maximum of $1,500 to $2,000. We check your benefits before the consult and file the claim for you. Original Medicare doesn't cover implants, though some Medicare Advantage plans include a dental allowance. HSA and FSA funds can be used.

What if I just want to know my options?

That's what the consult is for. The scan and plan are free, the price holds for 90 days, and nobody will ask you to sign anything on the day. About a third of the people we see take their plan home and come back months later.
