Not sure what to book? Answer three questions.

Tell us what bothers you, how much downtime you can live with, and what you want to spend. You'll get one recommendation with the price, the downtime and the reason, and you can book it from here.

  • Written by our medical director, the same logic we use at the front desk
  • If the honest answer is "start with a facial," that's what it will say
  • Nothing is saved or sent

What happens in your first 60 minutes

No surprises, and no one walks you to a package menu at the end.

  1. 0 to 10 min

    Talk first

A short health history with your provider: medications, allergies, what bothers you, and what you don't want done.

  2. 10 to 25 min

    Skin analysis

Imaging under daylight and UV. You get readings for hydration, smoothness, tone and sun damage, and we explain each one.

  3. 25 to 50 min

    Hydrating facial

Cleanse, gentle exfoliation, extractions only if you want them, a hyaluronic serum and a cooling mask. No downtime.

  4. 50 to 60 min

    Your written plan

One page with what to do at home, what can wait, and the price of every option. It goes home with you.

Please arrive 10 minutes early for check-in. You can go straight back to work or dinner afterward, and you don't have to book anything else.

You'll be seen by one of three people

Two nurse practitioners and a licensed aesthetician. Every plan, including facials, is reviewed by a nurse practitioner before you leave.

DNP, FNP-BC. Medical director

Renee Castillo

Board-certified nurse practitioner with 14 years in dermatology and aesthetics. Performs neuromodulator consults and signs off on every treatment plan.

"Most people need less than they came in asking for. I'll tell you when that's the case."

Sees clients for: consultations, neuromodulators, microneedling, peels

MSN, FNP-C. Nurse practitioner

Priya Raman

Eight years in aesthetic nursing, the last five focused on acne scarring and texture. Speaks English and Hindi.

"I show you the numbing, the needle depth and the healing photos before we start."

Sees clients for: microneedling, peels, neuromodulators, First Glow Visits

Licensed aesthetician, Arizona

Tessa Morales

Nine years of facials and peels, and the person most First Glow clients meet first. Very good with sensitive and rosacea-prone skin.

"If your skin is reactive, we go slower. A calm result beats a fast one."

Sees clients for: First Glow Visits, hydrating facials, peels

Medical oversight you can check

A med spa is a medical practice. Here is how we run ours, and where you can verify it.

A nurse practitioner on site every open hour

Renee Castillo, DNP, is our medical director. Either she or Priya Raman is in the building whenever we treat anyone, and one of them reviews every plan.

Patch tests before peels

Your first peel starts with a free 10-minute patch test at least 48 hours before, so a reaction shows up on a small spot behind your ear, not your whole face.

Products from the source

Neuromodulators come directly from the manufacturer, and the lot number goes in your chart. Our microneedling device is FDA-cleared.

Licenses you can look up

Our nurse practitioners are licensed by the Arizona State Board of Nursing and Tessa by the Board of Cosmetology. Both boards have free public lookups.

What first-time clients say

4.9
312 reviews on Google
"I put off a med spa for years because I was scared of looking frozen. Renee talked me down to half the units I asked about. People at work said I looked rested, and nobody could say why."
Karen M., 52, McCormick Ranch. First visit in March 2026

"The analysis showed my hydration was way low, which explained the tight feeling after every shower. Tessa's plan started with a $14 moisturizer. I came back for a peel in August."

Lauren P., 36, Old Town

"Expected a package pitch. Got a printout of my readings and a price for every option. My face was pink for about an hour, that's it."

Marcus T., 44, Tempe

"Parking took me a minute to figure out, use the garage. The visit itself was calm and ran on time. Four stars only because of the parking."

Jen S., 47, Arcadia. ★★★★
Is $129 really the whole price?

Yes. The skin analysis, the hydrating facial and your written plan are all included. If you want an add-on like dermaplaning ($45), we tell you the price and you decide before we start.

Will someone try to sell me a package?

No. We don't sell prepaid packages at a first visit. Your plan lists options with prices, and you can take it home and think about it.

I've never had anything done. Is a facial okay for sensitive skin?

Yes. Tell us about rosacea, eczema or reactions when you book, and we'll choose fragrance-free products and skip exfoliation if your skin needs that.

Can I book a peel or microneedling as my first visit?

You can. Peels need a free patch test at least 48 hours before, and we'll call you to set it up. Microneedling starts with a short consult on the same day, included in the price.

Do you see men?

Yes. About a quarter of our clients are men, most of them here for texture, sun damage or forehead lines.

What if I need to cancel?

Cancel or move your visit for free up to 24 hours before. Inside 24 hours there's a $40 late-change fee. There is no deposit for first visits.

I'm pregnant or nursing. Can I still come?

Yes, for the First Glow Visit and hydrating facials, using pregnancy-safe products. We hold off on peels, microneedling and neuromodulators until after you've finished nursing.

Start with 60 minutes and a written plan.

Open Monday to Saturday on Marshall Way in Old Town. Most weeks have openings within three days.
